Hotel Mandarina has a history in Manuel Antonio since the early 1990's. It has previously been known as Hotel El Dorado Mojado
and Hotel Kekoldi. Under new ownership since May 1st, 2007, the 12 unit hotel has been given the new name, Hotel Mandarina.
Mandarina is known as a small orange, like a tangerine, in Costa Rica.
Nestled against the lush jungle backdrop, the rooms surround a blue-tiled pool that has a small decorative waterfall.
It is a very private place to relax and watch the small monkeys swinging through the overhead canopy. Each room has been fitted with comfortable mattresses (3 units have KING size beds) and air conditioning units. Hair dryers are available upon request.
Coffee makers and small refrigerators are in each room. LCD TV's with DVD players are available in select units.
Two rooms have OPEN AIR SHOWERS! A newly refurbished 1 bedroom apartment with a partial ocean-view is now available.
You can walk down to a secluded beach in 20 minutes or you can take a quick 5 minute drive over to the main beach.
Several excellent restaurants and cafes are within walking distance as well. Don't miss El Avion,
the restaurant built around a salvaged 1950's American cargo plane!
